Hey there! We're the Davis family!
We're Keaton and Ashley, the husband-and-wife team behind Candles By A Dad! Along with our two little ones, Ryman and Lorelai, we're a family of four living in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
What started as one dad's hobby has grown into a family-owned small business with a heart for creating cozy homes and making a difference.

It All Started With a Dad Who Loved Candles...
Keaton has always loved a good candle. But when Ashley was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, we started paying closer attention to the ingredients in the products we brought into our home.
We began making swaps for cleaner, more thoughtfully made products, but Keaton wasn't ready to give up having a house that smelled amazing!
So, he started making his own candles.
After lots of research, experimenting, and a few failed batches, Candles By A Dad was born! What started as a hobby quickly grew into a family business, and the rest is history!

- 100% American-grown soy wax instead of traditional paraffin wax
- Premium cotton wicks without metal cores
- High-quality, certified clean fragrance oils thoughtfully selected with high ingredient standards in mind
- Small-batch, hand-poured craftsmanship right here in Murfreesboro, Tennessee

More Than Just Candles
More Than Just Candles
Over the past couple of years, our family has walked through some incredibly difficult seasons, including pregnancy loss, an ectopic pregnancy, and the premature birth of our daughter, Lorelai Hope.
After 87 days in the hospital during Ashley's pregnancy, Lorelai was born at just 31 weeks and 6 days and spent another 46 days in the NICU.
Those experiences changed our family forever.
Through heartbreak, uncertainty, and countless prayers, we experienced God's faithfulness and the incredible impact of people who showed up for us.
And we knew we wanted to do the same for others.
The Holding Hope Project
Out of our family's journey, The Holding Hope Project was born.
Through hospital care carts, encouraging resources, and meaningful acts of kindness, our mission is to bring hope and practical support to families experiencing pregnancy complications, pregnancy and infant loss, and NICU stays.
Our faith is at the heart of everything we do, and we're grateful that Candles By A Dad gives us an opportunity to make a difference beyond the candles we pour.
